The canopy over the ticket counter is made of a honeycombed carbon fiber composite shell, supported by high strength stainless steel tension support rods and glass used structurally, in tension. Stainless steel ball joints are placed within the tempered glass triangles.
TriPyramid collaborated not only with the architect and engineer, but also with the various suppliers of these high technology materials.

TriPyramid prepared the overall dimensional layout, and shop drawings for all vendors, allowing very tight tolerances and ease of assembly of the disparate materials on site.
TriPyramid fabricated the steel framework, and manufactured the structural tension components and fittings. |
