Fittings are designed to conceal the rod threads for a completely clean appearance. Standard material is type 304 stainless steel with a brushed finish. Other materials and finishes are available.
The most frequently used fitting is the adjusting nipple, which serves as both length adjuster and rod termination. It is most commonly used with a flat bar-type stanchion. It can also be used in conjunction with a nipple tang for fixing to wooden stanchions or walls. Thread concealing turnbuckles are available if mid-span length adjustment is desired. |
